Ryan is one of our expert Insurance Advisors, based in Waterloo, ON. He has worked in the insurance industry for a little over a year, during which time he has acquired a wealth of knowledge about various insurance products, including life, critical illness, and disability insurance.
Before Ryan decided to pursue a career in insurance, he enrolled in the Royal Canadian Air Force because, in his words, “When I turned 18, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life and figured 5 years of good pay and free travel wouldn’t hurt.” After he met his wife, he left the military to focus on his family and worked a variety of jobs before discovering the world of insurance and how important it is, especially with a young family. He says he has learned so much working at PolicyAdvisor, and that he couldn’t imagine being anywhere else.
When he’s not working, he spends as much time with his family as he can, whether that means taking his dogs for a walk around the block or just playing outside with his two kids. Ryan loves to cook anything and always tries new things, from Italian food to Indian food—because takeout is just too much nowadays! Sometimes it’s a hit, and other times his dogs get a new dinner!
